Casting simulator

A continuous caster casts steel non-stop from a sequence of ladles, buffered by the tundish. The operator’s real job is pace: hold the casting speed so the tundish never runs dry before the next ladle opens, while keeping superheat inside the window so the strand never freezes. This simulator puts you on that knife-edge — one ladle in the sequence arrives late.

Educational model: the physics is directionally calibrated to published caster behaviour, not a plant digital twin. Constants are illustrative and under refinement.
