Long Products Route

EAF → LF → CC → Bar/Rod → Section

Long products — rebar, wire rod, structural sections — are predominantly made via the EAF route. Scrap is melted in the EAF, refined in the ladle furnace, cast to billet or bloom via continuous caster, then rolled in the bar/rod or section mill.
