El Fouladh is a scrap-based steel plant: an electric arc furnace melts recycled steel scrap into new crude steel. The liquid steel is solidified into semi-finished shapes by continuous casting. The plant has a crude steel capacity of 200 thousand tonnes per year. Its main products are billet, rounds, galvanized wire, bars.
