Yamato Kogyo Co Ltd; Mitsui & Co Ltd; Siam Cement PCL; Sumitomo Corp owns 2 steel plants tracked in the Global Iron and Steel Tracker, all in Thailand. Together they can produce about 1.1 million tonnes of crude steel per year. The whole fleet runs the electric arc furnace route, melting recycled scrap.
