Meranti Steel Pte Ltd owns 2 steel plants tracked in the Global Iron and Steel Tracker, across Oman and Thailand. Together they can produce about 2.5 million tonnes of crude steel per year. The whole fleet runs the DRI–EAF route: direct reduction feeding electric arc furnaces.
